Let your baby explore
Once your child can stand and walk, it could feel as though they are always moving. They feel more independent and prepared to explore their abilities and surroundings now that they have acquired such a critical ability. They’ll take off running, climbing, jumping, and walking backward.
Also expect your child’s attempt to climb stairs more independently, firstly by clinging onto you. As they gain confidence, they will eventually put one foot on each step.
Your toddler mood swings
The ups and downs of a two-year-old might be challenging to observe. They frequently act sad, moody one second and happy, friendly the other. But these mood swings are a natural part of maturing. They are indicators of the emotional changes your child is going through as they battle to manage their body, their behaviours, their impulses, and their feelings.
Remember to
Be ready for everything from joy to fury because two-year-olds typically display a wide variety of emotions. However, if your child exhibits unusually high levels of isolation, is consistently sad, or is excessively needy and dissatisfied, you should contact a paediatrician. These could be symptoms of depression brought on by unrecognised stress or physiological issues. You will probably be referred to a mental health specialist for a consultation on how to deal with your childs’ behaviour and how to handle this situation.
