Manage stress
Be aware of your stress levels. Different people react differently to stress. How can you tell when you’re under stress? How do your thoughts or actions change when you’re stressed? Find the sources that stresses you by asking yourself these questions; What situations or actions set off tense emotions? Do they have anything to do with your kids, the health of your family, your finances, your job, your relationships, or something else?
Recognize your stress management strategy
Identify any unhealthy habits you may be doing to deal with the stress of motherhood. Is this a common practice or does it stresses you in certain occasions? Put things in perspective and create time for what matters most. Set priorities and assign tasks to others so they would help you. Determine how your loved ones can help lighten your load so that you can take a break.
Find appropriate coping mechanisms for stress
Think about engaging in stress-relieving activities like a nice walk, exercise, or a discussion with loved ones. Remember that harmful behaviours can be challenging to modify because they often develop over time. Avoid committing too much at once. Concentrate on finishing one task at a time single.
